Paid time off...excellent time to catch up on steps
I managed to schedule some time off from work to catch up on some much needed rest and some chores around my home, but I also took the time to catch up on some steps.
Have you ever been to those giant building supply stores, ala Lowes or The Home Depot?
I can easily walk 30 minutes in those stores pushing a cart. Talk about an easy way to log in some steps.
I also log in steps when doing chores around my home especially when I need to walk in and out of my house.
As an owner of a treadmill. I LOVE putting in 30 minutes of a walk there to get my day started. There is just something about taking a walk that is so therapeutic.
Add drinking water to this daily regimen and soon enough you will feel the effects of simply feeling better.
Part of sharing my newly found health and wellness journey is to put myself out there showing what I am willing to do at my age to simply extend my life as I age.
Being in my mid 50s, I have a newly found appreciation for taking better care of myself and to share with you anything I feel may help you.
If you have any tips for this mid 50s guy, I would be grateful and thankful for sharing those with me.
